Team & Mod FAQ
« on: July 02, 2017, 05:03:37 pm »
Without exception, all broken rules are dealt with as considered necessary by the Isles of Eventide moderation team on an individual and situational basis. All disciplinary decisions are final, but may be rebutted with an administrator ONLY.

What is an administrator?
In short, admins. They lead the project, site, and community in various ways. Overseers of game development and website productivity. Please contact a moderator with any questions or problems you have, they will notify an administrator if necessary.

What is a global moderator?
Global moderators handle more of the community complaints and problems. They deal with fights and rule-breakers. If a peaceful resolution can not be found without the help of staff, it's best to seek the help of a global moderator.

What is a moderator?
Moderators are mostly here to dust off the forum. Moving threads that have been misplaced, answering questions that have already been answered a couple hundred times, all that fun stuff.

What does it mean if someone is 'staff on hiatus'?
Administrators and moderators on leave for any number of reasons. Please do not contact any staff on hiatus with problems. You won't get a quick reply.

What does it mean to be retired staff?
Administrators and moderators who are NO LONGER administrators or moderators. Do no send them personal messages asking for help regarding the game or forum and do not report problematic behavior to them. They are no longer a part of the active team, but are listed for honorary reasons.
